🇬🇧Preparing new Erasmus+ professional partnerships 🤝Over the past few days, we had the pleasure of welcoming Zsuzsanna Dina, Erasmus+ Coordinator of the Budapest Business Vocational Training Centre (BGSZC), to Komárno and its surroundings. The main purpose of the professional visit was to introduce potential host organisations and locations that could provide practical Erasmus+ placements for environmental technician students in the future.🌿 On Veľký Lél Island (Veľkolélsky ostrov - Nagy Léli sziget), we met with representatives of the BROZ nature conservation organisation and also visited Ekofarma Ostrov, operated by BROZ. Their work in nature conservation and landscape management offers a wide range of hands-on learning opportunities directly related to the professional training of environmental technicians.🦅 At the SEV SAŽP Dropie Environmental Education Centre (SEV Dropie), we were able to see the organisation's diverse environmental activities in practice. Our discussions confirmed that the centre could also provide an excellent professional environment where students can gain valuable practical experience.🌳 We also had a successful meeting with private forester Tamás Maczala, who is ready to introduce future trainees to the forests and protected natural areas of the region from a forestry perspective, giving them practical insight into sustainable forest management.♻️ At the Municipality of Komárno, we discussed how a visit to the city's modern waste collection facility and composting site could become part of a future Erasmus+ professional programme, adding a practical waste-management component to the mobility.In addition to the professional placement sites, we also presented the wider hosting infrastructure available for Erasmus+ mobilities. We visited the Danubius Hotel and the accommodation facilities offered to trainee groups at the Martos EvMartosi Rendezvényliget és Népfőiskolaépfőiskola), while also introducing our guest to Komárno and Martos.It was an extremely productive professional visit, and we hope that this preparatory work will soon lead to concrete Erasmus+ mobilities, allowing us to welcome more teachers, professionals and trainees to Komárno and the surrounding region – in environmental professions and beyond.🇭🇺Újabb Erasmus+ szakmai együttműködések előkészítésén dolgozunk 🤝Az elmúlt napokban Dina Zsuzsannát, a Budapesti Gazdasági Szakképzési Centrum Erasmus+ koordinátorát láttuk vendégül Komáromban és környékén. A szakmai látogatás elsődleges célja az volt, hogy személyesen is bemutassuk azokat a helyszíneket és partnereket, amelyek a jövőben környezetvédelmi technikus tanulók Erasmus+ szakmai gyakorlatának adhatnak otthont.🌿 A Nagyléli-szigeten a BROZ természetvédelmi szervezet munkatársaival egyeztettünk, és az általuk működtetett Ekofarma Ostrov lakóit és tevékenységét is megismerhettük. A természetvédelmi és tájfenntartási munka számos olyan gyakorlati tapasztalatot kínál, amely közvetlenül kapcsolódhat a környezetvédelmi technikusok képzéséhez.🦅 A SEV SAŽP Dropie – Túzokos Környezeti Nevelési Központban ugyancsak élőben ismerhettük meg az intézmény sokrétű környezetvédelmi tevékenységét. Az egyeztetés alapján itt is kiváló lehetőség nyílhat arra, hogy a diákok valós szakmai környezetben szerezzenek tapasztalatokat.🌳 Maczala Tamás magánerdésszel szintén sikeres megbeszélést folytattunk. Vállalta, hogy a leendő gyakornokoknak erdészeti szemszögből mutatja be a környék erdőit és természetvédelmi területeit, közelebb hozva hozzájuk a fenntartható erdőgazdálkodás gyakorlati kérdéseit.♻️ Komárom Város Önkormányzatánál arról egyeztettünk, hogyan illeszthető be egy jövőbeli Erasmus+ szakmai programba a város modern hulladékudvarának és komposztálójának meglátogatása, ezzel a hulladékgazdálkodás gyakorlati oldalát is bevonva a programba.A szakmai helyszínek mellett természetesen a mobilitások teljes fogadási hátterét is bemutattuk: megtekintettük a Danubius Szállót, valamint a Martosi Rendezvényligetben a gyakornoki csoportok számára kínált szálláshelyeket, és Komárommal, illetve Martossal is megismertettük vendégünket.Rendkívül produktív szakmai látogatást tudhatunk magunk mögött. Bízunk benne, hogy az előkészítő munka hamarosan konkrét Erasmus+ mobilitásokban folytatódik, és további oktatókat, szakembereket és gyakornokokat fogadhatunk Komáromban és környékén – a környezetvédelmi szakmákban és azon túl is.🇸🇰Pripravujeme nové odborné spolupráce v rámci programu Erasmus+ 🤝V uplynulých dňoch sme v Komárne a jeho okolí privítali Zsuzsannu Dinu, koordinátorku programu Erasmus+ z Budapeštianskeho centra odborného vzdelávania (BGSZC). Hlavným cieľom odbornej návštevy bolo osobne predstaviť potenciálne pracoviská a partnerov, ktorí by v budúcnosti mohli poskytnúť odbornú prax študentom odboru technik životného prostredia v rámci programu Erasmus+.🌿 Na Veľkolélskom ostrove sme rokovali so zástupcami ochranárskej organizácie BROZ a navštívili sme aj nimi prevádzkovanú Ekofarmu Ostrov. Ich aktivity v oblasti ochrany prírody a starostlivosti o krajinu ponúkajú množstvo možností na získanie praktických skúseností priamo súvisiacich s odbornou prípravou technikov životného prostredia.🦅 V SEV SAŽP Dropie – Stredisku environmentálnej výchovy sme sa mohli priamo oboznámiť s rozmanitými aktivitami centra v oblasti ochrany životného prostredia. Na základe našich rokovaní môže byť aj toto pracovisko výborným miestom, kde študenti získajú cenné skúsenosti v reálnom odbornom prostredí.🌳 Úspešné rokovanie sme absolvovali aj so súkromným lesníkom Tamásom Maczalom, ktorý je pripravený budúcim stážistom predstaviť lesy a chránené prírodné územia regiónu z pohľadu lesníka a priblížiť im praktické otázky udržateľného lesného hospodárstva.♻️ Na Mestskom úrade v Komárne sme diskutovali o možnostiach začlenenia návštevy moderného zberného dvora a kompostárne mesta do budúceho odborného programu Erasmus+, vďaka čomu by študenti mohli spoznať aj praktickú stránku odpadového hospodárstva.Okrem odborných pracovísk sme predstavili aj širšie zázemie pre realizáciu mobilít. Navštívili sme Hotel Danubius, ako aj ubytovacie možnosti pre skupiny stážistov v Areáli podujatí Martovce, pričom sme našej hostke predstavili aj Komárno a Martovce.Máme za sebou mimoriadne produktívnu odbornú návštevu. 🇬🇧We are happy to share that our team from Slovakia took part in the Erasmus+ training course “Core Values in Youth Work: Inclusion, Cultural Sensitivity & Quality Learning” held in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania! 🇪🇺✨Four participants represented Slovakia and enjoyed an inspiring and experience-rich week together with youth workers from Romania, Georgia, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Serbia, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Azerbaijan. 🌍Throughout the program, our team took part in diverse non-formal learning activities, discovered new methods, and developed both personal and professional skills. On November 20, we welcomed a group of nearly 20 representatives from Poland in Komárno, where we held our professional meeting at the Danubius Hotel. Their aim was to learn more about the work of Career VET and gain insight into our experience with VET mobility programmes. The study visit was organised by New Europe Foundation, thank you for the cooperation!During the discussion, they asked many questions about how the VET system works, our international cooperation, and our best practices — all of which we were happy to address in detail.At the end of the programme, we also took our guests on a short city tour, introducing them to the key sights of Komárno and the unique Slovak–Hungarian cultural heritage of the town. 🇬🇧🌲 Two weeks full of experiences, professional growth, and forest adventures! 🌲✨From October 5th to 18th, 12 students and 2 accompanying teachers visited us from Hungary 🇭🇺, from the Északi ASzC Mátra Forestry Technical School, as part of the Erasmus+ program 🌍✈️.The students are studying forestry, and this two-week mobility gave them the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-life conditions – surrounded by nature. 🌳🌿They were accommodated in Martos, at the Rendezvényliget, a perfect and inspiring place fitting to their field. 🏡🍃👨🌾 During their stay, the students carried out their practical training with forester Tomas Maczala, who shared his vast experience and professional insights about forest management and conservation. 🌲💼Throughout the two weeks, they explored several locations – Martos, Kava, Füss, Bős, Dunaszerdahely, and Csicsó – where they learned about forest ecosystems, logging technologies, and sustainable forestry practices. 🌳🔍🌿 In Bős, they visited a sawmill and a hydroelectric power plant, learning about the connection between nature and energy.They also spent a great day at the Wood School in Dunaszerdahely, where they discovered new technologies, listened to inspiring presentations, and gained new perspectives on the woodworking industry. 🌲🪵💡In Csicsó, they participated in a field study, observing forest management techniques and learning to assess forest health and sustainability. 🌳📚At the end of the program, the group gathered for a farewell lunch with the forester, where they reflected on their experiences, shared memories, and expressed their gratitude for the guidance and knowledge received. 🤝🍽️The students also enjoyed cultural experiences: exploring Komárno, discovering Bratislava and Devín Castle, and spending time together in laughter and joy. 🌆🏰🍕 The mobility ended with a fun pizza evening – a perfect closure to two meaningful weeks! 💚💬 Dear students, it was wonderful to see your dedication, curiosity, and love for nature! 🇬🇧🤩Two weeks full of experiences, professional insights, and new friendships!🤩Over the past two weeks, 12 students and 2 accompanying teachers visited us from Hungary, from the Északi ASzC Bárczay János Agricultural Technical School, Vocational School, and College, as part of the Erasmus+ program. The participants are studying to become agricultural technicians, animal breeders, and farmers, so this mobility program provided them with real professional experience and lifelong memories. 🌱🚜👩🌾👨🌾 The students completed daily practical training at various agricultural businesses and family farms:• Balla Farm (Martos) – operation, maintenance, and servicing of agricultural machinery• Dumet family business – the world of tuber crop cultivation• Udvardi Szövetkezet – cultivation of cereals, oilseeds, sugar beets, and fodder crops on 4,481 hectares• Martosi Szövetkezet – insight into the daily routine of agricultural production and tradeThe students were welcomed with great affection and enthusiasm at every workplace, where they quickly settled in and earned the recognition of their colleagues with their diligent and curious attitude. Saying goodbye was not easy, as real relationships and shared memories had been formed over the two weeks. 💚But the program was not only about work, it was also about community experiences and cultural discoveries!🏰 On the first day, they got to know Komárom with the help of a tour guide.🌆 Over the weekend, they took a trip to Bratislava, where they visited Devín Castle and explored the beauty of the Slovak capital – it was a great experience to see history and the modern city come together.🎬 In the evenings, movie nights, conversations, quizzes, and guitar playing added color to the program.🍕 We celebrated the last day with pizza and bowling, which was a fitting end to the two-week trip.💬 Dear students, you have great potential, and we believe that this trip will help you develop your skills and passions. A búcsú nem volt könnyű, hiszen két hét alatt igazi kapcsolatok és közös emlékek születtek. 💚De a program nemcsak a munkáról szólt, hanem a közösségi élményekről és kulturális felfedezésekről is!🏰 Az első nap Komárommal ismerkedtek meg idegenvezető segítségével.🌆 A hétvégén Pozsonyban jártak, ahol megnézték a dévényi várat és felfedezték a főváros szépségeit – különleges élmény volt látni, ahogy a történelem és a modern város találkozik.🎬 Esténként közös mozizások, beszélgetések, kvízestek és gitározás színesítették a programot.🍕 A záró napot közös pizzázással és bowlingozással ünnepeltük, méltó lezárásaként a két hétnek.💬 Kedves diákok, óriási bennetek a lehetőség, és hisszük, hogy ezek az élmények segítenek majd kibontakoztatni tudásotokat és szenvedélyeteket.
